In view of the ongoing pandemic, safety is our top priority at Luxe Limo Service. These are unprecedented times, and Luxe Limo Service has taken every necessary measure to keep passengers safe, as well as our employees. We’re closely following the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines as well as the National Limousine Associations (NLA) recommended hygienic protocol in our bid to contain the spread of the virus.
Find out the measures we have implemented:
1. Our drivers are monitored (they undergo temperature screenings using no-touch thermometers at the beginning and end of each shift), employees who show symptoms of illness are removed from duties and are instructed to seek medical assistance.
2. Our chauffeurs will wear medical face masks and gloves during the trip and have been asked to avoid shaking hands (or sharing any other object with passengers).
3. Chauffeurs have been asked to maintain a distance of two meters from passengers and are restricted from touching their own face, eyes or mask during working hours. Drivers also use disinfectant sprays and hand sanitizers before and after every ride.
4. We have decided to leave the front seat vacant and to apply transparent insulating films between the driver and the back seats of our cars to prevent the spread of infection and to give customers greater security.
5. All our vehicles are cleaned and disinfected between each journey with cleaning and disinfectant agents, with particular attention to door handles, seat belts, armrests, lights and air conditioning systems, and ventilation openings.
6. We have also decided to temporarily remove all printed reading materials, drinks and snacks and to restrict the exchange and contact of materials between passengers and chauffeurs wherever possible to avoid cross-contact. Sealed water will still be available on request.
7. All work areas of the employees are cleaned and disinfected daily.
8. We provide all employees and passengers with hand disinfectants. A bottle of hand disinfectant is kept in each vehicle and is available on request, and face masks will be provided for customers upon request.
9. All drivers adhere to high standards of personal hygiene, including washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, covering coughs and sneezes with a handkerchief and staying at home when they are ill.
